GILI SELANG - NORTH EASTERN BALI - KARANGASEM

Gili Selang is famous for its position directly exposed to the strong ocean currents that flow through the Lombok Strait, connecting the Indian Ocean and the Pacific Ocean. This place is also known as “Selang Pegat” which means “broken” or “separate”. While “Gili” means “small island” in the Sasak language, which is also spoken in Bali.

Kusambi [Pantai Kusuma] & Batu Keseni are colorful coral gardens, just like your dreams. We check the water conditions before diving. The currents aren’t always strong. These are boat dives, reserved for experienced divers. We’ll take you for a test dive in the Amed area first.

GILI SELANG BAY & EXPRESS

We call the dive around the rock the Express [the rock itself is called Batu Manak] due to the drift that could be sometimes a little challenging as the current would change along the way & can be strong. Starting from the Gili Selang Bay to drift till southern part of the tiny island and arriving on a sandy area patches with boommies.
